Nasir Team Lands in Sudan

As the team embarked from their small plane on Wednesday, they were greeted warmly by their friends in Nasir. The team quickly settled into their mud hut accommodations in the village and met with the new village commissioner, who gave them a tour of Nasir.

For the next couple of days, the team spent time with the Nasir Bible School students and listened to them recount stories from their final phase of training. Dedicated and enthusiastic, the students told the stories accurately and astounded the team with their oral Biblical knowledge!

Tomorrow, a few team members will head to Kierwan to meet with Buay and check on the status of the Village to Village project. The remaining team members will record Bible songs in the people’s native tongue of Nuer and continue to practice storying with the Bible school students.

Please pray for the students as they continue to learn stories and share them with their communities. Additionally, pray for favor in Kierwan as the team works through details of the construction projects.
