Biong October/November 2009 Trip
Jonglei, Sudan

Dates: Friday, October 30th – Saturday, November 14th
Cost: $4700
Registration Deadline: August 30th

Description: Biong is near Bor located in the Upper Nile Region along the Nile River. Home to the Dinka tribe, the largest tribe in southern Sudan, Bor was one of the first locations to receive missionaries in southern Sudan around 100 years ago. This trip is in partnership with Nashville's Brentwood Baptist Church and will focus on health by hosting a medical clinic in the village. As with all trips, team members will minister through Chronological Bible Storying. Team members will stay in mud huts, bathe out of a basin, eat food cooked over a fire, and in every way live a very basic lifestyle. All team members will receive full training on living and ministering in southern Sudan.
