Nasir June Trip
Nasir, Sudan
Description: Nasir is located along the Sobat River and is just 16 miles from the Ethiopian border. Home to the Nuer tribe, the second largest tribe in southern Sudan, Nasir contains remnants of buildings from missionaries and others who settled there over 50 years ago. Nasir is the home site for the work of Moses Project missionary Jengmer Yat, leading the Aid Sudan Nasir Bible School.
Comprised of businessman, this team supervised Aid Sudan projects in the area including the construction of water wells, schools and medical clinics for the Village to Village project and the installation of a radio tower for the Radio Station Project. Additionally, the team mentored Bible School students by demonstrating hut-to-hut evangelism in the village.
