UPCOMING TRIPS
Aid Sudan takes several trips to southern Sudan during a calendar year, routinely visiting our target locations. Community development is carried out through the Genesis Project, which was adopted by Aid Sudan in reference to a time of new beginning for southern Sudan. The Genesis Project encompasses the four pillars of life: water, education, health, and the church. On each trip to Sudan, Aid Sudan always focuses on education, health, and the church, while aiming when possible to also include work in the area of water.
Each trip is led by an Aid Sudan team leader who is experienced in working in southern Sudan. Teams are given training and debriefing, and have the privilege of experiencing mission work in one of the most remote and challenging places in the world today that has a great need for community development and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
For Sudanese joining a mission team, many of whom have not returned to Sudan in fifteen or twenty years, it is a time to reunite with family and friends. For them, the trips carry very special meaning as they share the Good News of the gospel and work towards community development in their native land.
Thinking about going on a mission trip? We invite all who are interested to prayerfully consider applying for one of our mission trips to southern Sudan. Please read over our Mission Trip FAQ’s and visit our Previous Trips page before clicking on one of the trips below to begin the application process.
Applications are accepted online beginning a few months prior to a trip. There is a great amount of interest in the trips and we encourage potential applicants to apply early.
Closed trips are partner trips for specific churches or groups, while open trips are available to anyone. If an open trip is full but you would like to be put on the waiting list or would like any additional information on Aid Sudan's mission trips, please email Andrew Brown at andrew@aidsudan.org.
